CBCT Scanning—3D digital scanning allows us to see every angle of your oral anatomy. This resource is especially useful for planning treatments like dental implant placement or screening for impacted wisdom teeth, among others.
Digital X-rays—Low-radiation digital X-rays allow for high-resolution imaging in a matter of seconds. We can easily share these images with you so that you can co-diagnose your care alongside Dr. Ladino.
Soft-Tissue Laser Therapy—FDA-approved soft tissue laser treatments are beneficial in everything from crown lengthening and treating gummy smiles to gum disease management and ulcer treatments.
Minimally-Invasive Dental Fillings
A small cavity can easily expand if left untreated. Dr. Ladino routinely screens for tooth decay so that it can be managed at the earliest opportunity. We prefer to treat most small fillings with white, composite dental fillings.
Composite fillings bond naturally to your tooth enamel, making them less invasive than traditional metal fillings (which require additional enamel removal to place them.) Plus, the custom-matched shade process allows the restoration to blend in with your overall tooth. You should be able to smile without anyone realizing you’ve had a filling placed.
Full-Coverage Crowns
Whenever a tooth is too worn or broken to support a filling, Dr. Ladino will recommend a crown. Our Woodhaven crowns are made primarily of one of two tooth colored materials ( with no dark metal included) zirconia or a strong porcelain called Emax. These “caps” are both aesthetically attractive but also highly durable. You can eat anything you’d like without the risk of something wearing out or chipping off.
Crowns are recommended after root canal therapy to restore large cavities or on top of individual dental implants.

If your tooth is damaged to the point that it’s non-restorable or severely infected, Dr. Ladino might recommend an extraction. However, he will work with you to develop a tooth replacement option to help preserve spacing and overall alignment as soon as possible.
